Job title: Test Item Control Officer (TICO)
A Test Item Control Officer (TICO) is responsible for ensuring that test items are received safely and are not contaminated or mixed up.

Job description:
• Receiving and storing : TICOs receive test items and store them in environmentally controlled areas. They ensure that different types of products, such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and chemicals, are stored in separate areas.
• Coding : TICOs assign a unique code to each test item.
• Maintaining records : TICOs maintain a mass balance and issue log for each test item.
• Sending receipt notes : TICOs send a receipt note to the sponsor within 48 hours of receiving the test item.
• Guiding sponsors : TICOs help sponsors with any documents they may need to comply with GLP guidelines.
• Educating users : TICOs advise users and scientists on the hazards of handling test chemicals.
Education : B Pharma, M Pharma, Pharmaceuticals, preferred candidate profile Innovation, Consistency, Basic Computer Skills, English
