Test EngineerApplication Deadline: 30 September 2025Department: EngineeringEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: PuneDescriptionWe are currently seeking a self-motivated technical Test Engineer who thrives on exposing issues and improving the quality of our state-of-the-art trading applications. Test Engineers are constantly challenged to understand complex trading strategies, uncover software issues in our trading platform through testing, and provide product feedback to improve end-user experience.What Will You Be Involved With?

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases based on software requirements and technical design specs
• Assist in reproducing, investigating, and debugging software issues in coordination with the Development team
• Recommend product improvements, usability enhancements, or corrections in coordination with the Product Management team
• Responsible for testing product releases using a combination of automated and manual tests
• Thoroughly test new features manually, then convert them to automated tests for the regression suite
• Help identify gaps in test coverage and write manual tests and automation to plug the gaps
• Attend status meetings with development and other quality engineers to report on progress and challenges with current projects.

What you bring to the table

• 3+ years experience with scripting automation test
• Strong Experience with Python is required; Experience with Linux is also a plus
• Working knowledge of an object-oriented language and principles
• Strong analytical skills and commitment to continuous testing improvement
• Must understand the testing and development life cycle methodologies
• Knowledge of the financial industry and trading systems is a strong plus
