Role: Test Engineer - P&E Function: Technology Reporting into: Senior Test Engineer P&E/ Section Head P&E Testing Level: M2
Purpose of the Role
The position exists in order to perform Test Cell activities & P&E trials with the following objectives of developments wrt performance emissions within the limits of current and future emission norms & for maintaining target uptime and utilization of P&E Test Bed with quality data generation.

Diploma - Mechanical/ Automobile/ Electrical

Area of Responsibility
Test cell uptime & utilization In order to maintain test cell uptime & utilization targeting above 85% utilization of P&E test cells. This results in project deliverables for meeting current & future norms, Test results data management. Engine startup time reduction Reduction of engine startup time 20%. This results in reducing engine setup time in test cell & increases efficiency in the test cell, Pre-installation & setup preparation in the rigging.
Accuracies of test conducted & adherence to Engine pre-requisite sheet In order to perform a test with accurate results & adhere to pre-requisite conditions. To maintain test results accuracies up to 95%, Adherence to NABL compliance - 100%. To maintain test requisite sheet, MIS, engine readiness & equipment health sheet.
Ensuring safety & housekeeping of respective area In order to maintain a safe & healthy environment in test cells. To maintain safety sheets daily, Test cell housekeeping checks & unwanted materials scraping.
