You support the qualification of new products, Components and provide suggestions to the project team based on test analysis. You will be responsible to Lab and instrumentation upgrades and calibration as per defined process and procedures. Use the process of documents and controlling the manpower with properly planning, Identifying the trainings needs for the operators and fitters as per competence mapping and upgrading their knowledge on compressors, Pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Conduct safety reviews for all NPDs and using LMRA as a process to do any activity in Lab.

• Responsibilities/Duties (in order of importance)
• Testing prototype products and prototype parts 80% of Time
• Analyzing test results and suggest solutions, alternatives or improvements of the design and layout, Routings
• Provide clear and professional test reports. Follow templates in system and report on timely basis with conclusions on the report.
• Decide on qualification plan together with the Project Engineer and present a weekly test planning to Engineering Managers
• Manage & develop test infrastructure, including maintenance and endurance test equipment
• Update and renew test procedures
• Organize the work schedule of the lab operators
• Ensure a safe working environment in the prototype area and lab

-Work on operation excellence projects to improve xe2x80x9cFirst Time Rightxe2x80x9d and efficiency in the engineering lab * To maintain all the measuring instruments & test equipment in good working condition & to ensure that they are calibrated as per the procedure of calibration

• To build the functional prototypes & to collect all comments & report to Project Engineer / Manager

To succeed, you will needQualifications/Knowledge & Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3 to 4 years of Experience in testing / production
• Experience in a product engineering environment is a plus
• Experience on Noise and Vibrations software's and analysis is added advantage
• Experience in testing of air compressors, generators and electrical compressors is preferable
• Working experience on MS office tools and project management.
