Position Purpose
Tester will be responsible to:
\xc3\x98 Develop a good understanding of the existing application (functional).
\xc3\x98 Analyse new requirements/changes (functional and technical) from a testing perspective.
\xc3\x98 Carry out Integrated System Testing - Manual Testing.
\xc3\x98 Regular follow-ups on issues observed.
\xc3\x98 Hands on Automation and execution of tests.
\xc3\x98 Design and create the test plans and the test scripts for the IST.
\xc3\x98 Create the tests data for IST.
\xc3\x98 Execute the test plans to qualify the software, with usage of standard tools.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities:
Design and create a test plan:
- Integrate and assimilate the specifications provided by BA (Business Analyst).
- Write the test plan which will prove that the programs fulfil the required functions.
Submit the test plan to BA for review:
- Communicate and follow-up with the BA for validation.
- Integrate the remarks, and up-date the test plan.
Prepare the test environment:
- Stay informed on the preparation of the test\xe2\x80\x99s environments by development team.
- Create the necessary tests data, in collaboration with development and BA team.
Delivery of development:
- Stay informed on the scheduling of delivery of development.
- Take account of the results of tests from development team, to decide to start testing.
Execute the test plan for IST
- Execute the tests defined in the test plan.
- Update the Acceptance report and the defects database.
- if any problem, contact the relevant development team and BA for confirmation.

Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of Functional Testing Experience in Software functional testing
Domain / Technical:
Hands on experience in financial services industry specifically into CAPITAL MARKET (Security Services).
Hands on experience into Corporate Action and Clearing and Settlement (on Securities).
End-to-End business knowledge on Trade Flow (Clearing and Settlement (on Securities).
End-to-End business knowledge on Corporate Action Flow.
Hands on experience in SWIFT standards ISO15022 (MT Format).
o MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543, MT544, MT545, MT546, MT547, MT548, MT564, MT565, MT566, MT567, MT568
Hands on experience in SWIFT standards ISO 20022 (MX Format).
o SESE.020, SESE021, SESE023, SESE024, SESE025, SESE.027 SESE.028, SESE.030, SESE.031
Knowledge on business roles by Stock exchange, Settlement Center & Regulators (For example: SEBI).
Hands-on experience in SQL (basic).
Good understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
Prior experience in testing applications in maintenance mode.
Added advantage with Automation experience.
Others:
Focused to understand and learn application/business functionality.
Should be able to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Experience of the tools and the methods for test and qualification (HPALM Quality Center, OCTANE, JIRA\xe2\x80\xa6)
