You will be working as Test Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Associate Project Manager. You will be primarily responsible for setting up and executing routine tests on different devices in accordance with standardized testing methodologies and requirements. Document test results and update internal process/procedure documents and instructions for use in corrective measures. An individual contributor who performs tasks or activities using skills and techniques as well as practical understanding of concepts used in a field of technology. Responsibilities may include set-up, configuration, testing or maintenance of equipment, products, or systemsYour responsibilities Ensuring product quality for MA products and software solutions and including test execution and maintaining test suites Sharing test results on timely manner and ensuring test setup is available Managing LAB inventory in compliance with the quality index of the organization Aiming to elicit and developing test requirements from product requirements Tracking testing KPI\'s and providing solutions where there is a deviation Working in a dynamic and creative team with a wide range of experience and expertise Your background Degree in BE/B.Tech/MCA Minimum experience of 5-8 yrs as Test Engineer Experience working with popular operating systems including Windows and Linux & knowledge of testing software including Azure DevOps/any test management tool Excellent software troubleshooting skills and should be able to understand and drive manual testing process towards successful automation Good knowledge on APIs and working experience with API test clients like Postman Knowledge of industrial protocols like HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Ethernet IP is an added advantage More about us ABB\'s Measurement & Analytics division is among the world\'s leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers.
