An ideal candidate thrives on exposing issues and improving the quality of our state-of-the-art trading applications. Test Engineers are constantly challenged to understand complex trading systems, uncover software issues in our trading platform through testing, provide feedback that can help enhance our end-user experience, and provide information about usability to stakeholders in the organization.What Will You Be Involved With?

• Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical design specs.
• Assist in reproducing, investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with the Development team.
• Recommend product improvements, usability enhancements or corrections in coordination with the Product Management team.
• Collaborate with a team of testers to constantly improve and enhance each other\'s skill sets and arsenal of test tools.
• Design and Update the automation framework to support new features or fix automation issues.
• Manually test new features thoroughly before automation is developed
• Responsible for testing product releases via a combination of system-level automated and manual tests..

What Will You Bring to the Table?

• 3+ years experience with developing and running automated tests using python language.
• Experience working in the financial industry specifically in Trade surveillance or Compliance or Market Abuse monitoring systems is a big plus.
• Experience in developing automation for big data testing, including data ingestion, data processing, and data migration, is highly desirable.
• Experience testing web applications and using Linux preferred
• Experience working with AWS cloud services preferred
• Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and test engineering principles and processes
• Strong analytical skills and commitment to continuous testing improvement
• Strong expertise in REST API testing and SQL is required.
• Familiarity with Playwright or other browser application testing frameworks is a significant advantage.
