Automation - Test Engineer or Senior Test Engineer, IoT Platform Tribe to join our team of experts at the KONE Services & Solutions R&D. You will work together with other professionals to test the IoT devices and its applications to provision and monitor our elevators and other connectivity devices. You are passionate in testing the applications end-to-end in both manual and automation, CI/CD pipeline, always aiming for quality, speed (i.e.) on-time delivery, and testing practices optimization. As test engineer you will work in a highly motivated team in charge to test the quality of the software application developed. Main responsibilities Responsible to develop automation scripts using python and Robot framework. Ensure overall Component SW quality before releasing to next level of testing. Propose new tools/technique to develop the test automation capabilities further. Responsible to maintain and manage the test environments at lab. Create understandable, simple, scalable, and best quality automation test cases to verify and validate the software quality. Responsible for verifying and validate the software quality by thoroughly testing the application and finding the bugs. Should support the development team to release the software on time. Implement the new technique and innovative idea to reduce the test execution time and improve test quality. Report the software defect in acceptable way on time. Review the test cases. To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: Bachelor\'s Degree in engineering - EEE / ECE / E&I / IT / CSE. Minimum 5+ Years of Experience in Test Automation as Test case Developer from Web / Cloud domain using Python. Experience in Python language. Experience in Robot Framework & Selenium web driver. Experience in CI/CD Tools Jenkins, GitLab. Experience in AWS cloud is preferable. Experience in Performance testing using Jmeter tool. Experience in requirements/defect reporting tools (Jira, Jama etc) Develop and maintain test environments preferrable to have Hardware knowledge. Maintain 5S & Safety work culture in Laboratory. Experience in design and developing the automation test case for IoT devices. Experience in test library development using python. Experience in test environment preparation for IoT devices. Expertise and experience in Remote and IoT device physical testing Experience in Linux environment. Experience in SW testing cycle. Experience in agile ways of working. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly focused towards work and achieving goals. Good Debugging, problem solving and Analyzing skills. Detail focus and Information seeking. Innovation and creativity. Proactive communication and Quality focus. Strong interest towards quality assurance.
