Territory Sales Officer (TSO) - FMCG
Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Territory Sales Officer (TSO) to manage and grow sales within an assigned region for our FMCG products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring product availability across the territory. This role requires strong market knowledge, sales skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets by driving primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory.
• Distributor & Retailer Management: Appoint, train, and manage distributors, stockists, and retailers to ensure product availability and growth in the market.
• Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, expand market share, and enhance product visibility in the region.
• Promotional Activities: Implement and manage promotional activities to boost brand awareness and sales, working closely with marketing and management teams.
• Competitor Monitoring: Keep track of competitor activities, customer preferences, and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor sales performance, generate regular reports, and provide feedback to senior management on market dynamics and growth opportunities.
Key Requirements (Education, Work Experience & Skills):
• Bachelor's degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, or a related field).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales , FMCG , or territory management .
• Strong knowledge of territory management , distributor network , and sales planning .
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive business growth.
• Excellent communication , negotiation , and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English , Hindi , and the local language is preferred.
