The Territory Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets, developing customer relationships, and driving business growth within an assigned geographical area. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, promoting products/services, and maintaining a strong presence in the market. This position requires excellent communication skills, a results-driven attitude, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Target Achievement:
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Execute strategies to drive sales growth and expand market share in the assigned territory.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
• Conduct regular meetings and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Market Analysis:
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities.
• Conduct market research and provide feedback to the management on the effectiveness of sales strategies.
• Product Promotion:
• Present and demonstrate products to clients, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
• Implement promotional activities, product launches, and marketing campaigns to boost product visibility.
• Territory Management:
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to cover the territory effectively, ensuring maximum customer coverage.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the geographical area and prioritize visits based on business potential.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and customer information.
• Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the marketing, customer support, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide feedback from customers to the product development and marketing teams to improve offerings.
• Travel:
• Travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and represent the company at various events.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a relevant industry.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with the territory or region is a plus.
