Territory Manager- FQA

Job Title - Territory Manager, Field Quality

Reporting Manager - Quality Lead Corn India

POSITION PURPOSE:

  • Coordinate and execute Field quality - crop inspections, Grow out tests
  • Conduct trainings to Field team/Toller on hybrid & Parent seed production best practices and conduct audits
  • Facilitate resolution /information sharing of customer queries on quality through root cause analysis and preventive actions
  • Support QA, QT, QE quality functions with Data Analysis using statistical tools to facilitate informed decision making and improvements
Roles and Responsibility -
  • Conduct crop inspections of hybrid and parent seed production fields at defined intervals/set calendar as per FSS guidelines
  • Prepare corrective and preventive actions for the observed deviations and update the date in FIDO/Velocity
  • Support field sampling and dispatch of problem inventory /suspected disease/genetic issue samples to QA lab
  • Conduct audits of corn driers/tolls
  • Execute complaint management tests from genetic purity perspective
  • Implement QMS, ESH in field quality processes
  • Execute technical trainings in CSP/FSS/Moisture tests/ etc to Field QA and production
  • Drive continual improvement projects in Field quality
  • Support the conduction of GOT and FET based on requirement
  • Ensure communication of non-conforming products that could represent a significant risk to customers or row crop supply
  • Support the statistical analysis and inference of data using relevant statistical and programming tools
Knowledge and Skill -
  • Postgraduate in agriculture with 2+ years relevant business experience
  • Knowledge of seed science, Field inspections/audits
  • Good knowledge and expertise of statistical tools and programing
  • Excellent team player, change and project management capabilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Good collaboration skills and Result oriented
