Job Description
We are having an urgent opening for the position of Tendering (Institutional Sales) for a reputed company in Manufacturing Industry (Industrial Garment) at the Chennai locations.Key Responsibilities:
- To be based out of Chennai and looking after the 5 key Southern States (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu & Kerala).
- Regular travel may vary between 7- 12 days per month within the specified zone on pre-planned / approved tour program. However, the candidate must be open to travelling exigency situations
- To gather tender information and references from a variety of sources including online search engines, industry, and market intelligence data. This would require meeting Government / PSU clients and developing good relationships with existing and potential customers..
- Should preferably have some prior knowledge on working in Gem (Government e Marketplace), e Proc, I Reps and several other types of Defense/PSU procurement portals.
