As a Tender Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire tender process, from finding relevant tenders to submitting proposals. You will work closely with various departments to gather required information, ensure timely submission, and follow up on tender results. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a deep understanding of procurement processes.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive to manage the end-to-end process of Government e-Marketplace (GEM), E-Procurement, N-Procurement, and Educational Tenders, along with SRM functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tender browsing, coordination, documentation, and submission, ensuring smooth procurement operations.
Objectives of the role:
Searching and identifying relevant tenders on the GeM Portal.
Participating in the bidding process, preparing required documentation, and ensuring timely submission.
Uploading tenders and related documents accurately on the portal.
Following up on bids and working towards successfully securing tenders for the company.
Your tasks:
Tender Management & Procurement:
a) Browse GEM Tenders for the SMTPL region and identify relevant opportunities.
b) Identify new tenders for E-Procurement and process vendor registration where required.
c) Ensure timely submission of tenders while meeting all compliance requirements.
d) Upload product details and manage tender-related documentation.
e) Keep track of tender due dates and send timely reminders.
Coordination & Documentation:
a) Work closely with Field Engineers to gather necessary documents and technical inputs.
b) Assist in preparing and verifying required tender documents.
c) Maintain clear communication with stakeholders for approvals and clarifications.
Monitoring & Reporting:
a) Provide weekly updates and coordinate with Field Engineers.
b) Prepare a monthly calendar and a weekly report highlighting tender due dates, reminders, and action items.
Required skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in tendering, procurement, or related fields.
Strong understanding of GEM, E-Procurement, N-Procurement, BEL SRM, and Educational Tenders.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and online tendering portals.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Prior experience in handling government tenders.
Knowledge of vendor registration processes and compliance requirements.
Proven knowledge of GeM Portal operations and tender procedures.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
