Description
• The Tender Executive will be responsible for managing the entire tendering process for government and private sector contracts in the Ayurveda pharmaceutical industry. This role involves identifying tender opportunities, preparing and submitting tender documents, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tender Identification:
• Regularly monitor government and private sector websites for tender opportunities relevant to Ayurveda pharmaceutical products.
• Analyze the suitability of tenders in line with company capabilities and strategic goals.
• Tender Preparation:
• Prepare and compile all necessary documents for tender submissions, including technical and financial proposals.
• Coordinate with internal departments (R&D, production, finance) to gather the required information.
• Ensure that all tender documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within the deadline.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with all tender specifications and company policies.
• Maintain a database of all tender documents, submissions, and outcomes.
• Handle any post-tender queries and clarifications.
• Market Analysis:
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities related to tenders.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to improve tender success rates.
• Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, private sector clients, and internal teams.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and suppliers as required.
• Reporting:
• Prepare regular reports on tender activities, including success rates, challenges, and areas for improvement.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Experience in tendering, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of the tendering process, especially within the government sector.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tender management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
