Mission statement To achieve the tender target and maintain profitability as per standard. To act as business partner with M&S and tender manager during tendering phase in line with internal process (LOM). To provide the optimum solutions in term of commercial issue to support tendering team. Responsibility Handle commercial issues. Bond review: Co-ordinate with treasury and bank to review and provide comment, explain with customer for the comment, be coordinator between bank and customer till the finalize bond wording. Provide the bond fee from tendering till entire warranty period. Insurance review: Co-ordinate with our insurance specialist and broker to review and provide comment in the insurance T&Cs, explain with customer for the comment, be coordinator between bank and customer till the finalize insurance T&Cs. Provide all insurance fee from tendering till entire warranty period. Ensure that the special approval performing and cost including in FCM for some insurance and tender value threshold. Customer credit: Ensure that customer credit assessment in a timely manner and inline with the group instruction before RR meeting and bid submittal. Review that customer payment term and security, Customer T&C and CF in line with the credit assessment. Hedging: Provide the optimum hedging strategy. Co-ordinate with treasury and CFM and ensure that the hedging cost / FX risk are precise. Review the commodity risk calculation is in line with mitigation action and guidance. Include commercial contingency/Risk i.e., inflation risk, escalation clause, etc. (If require) Tax: Understand the tax assessment and ensure that no tax risk exposure. Include all taxed cost/admin related costs according to the country tax specialize in FCM. Tendering cashflow Jointly work with the tendering/SCM to prepare the CoC integrate CF and standalone CF Identify gap or area to improve CF, work with the tendering/SCM till improving CF Assess and derive customers cancellation payments. Calculation and derivation of exposure based on CF and cancellation fee mechanisms Cost Review Review cost item, cost gap (supplier - customer cost gap i.e., different incoterm, etc.), cross check with supplier quotation (random if required). Review CBS mapping (if requires) Optimum suggestion (depending on competency - know alternative supplier, incoterm, etc.) Tender cost Approve and gather the specific tender cost (i.e. Man-hour, TCC, T&E, BG fee, other, etc) Control tender cost vs tender budget. Provide the calculation with the supporting information in case of back charge and further analysis. Risk Review Review the commercial portion in RR DB before the HBU RR meeting. Verify and approve FCM before the HBU RR meeting. Participant in local and HBU risk review. Project Handover Properly handover to project controller Receive continuous feedback from project controlling and ensure immediate implementation of lessons learnt in future tendering. Other Ensure that all instructions from HBU/GPG/BU/Division/Group with respect to tendering activities are uniformly implemented and followed across all units of HBU. Knowledge & Skill Expert knowledge of ABB\'s A&RG and Group Directives.
