Telugu Teacher
Location: Mount Dios International School, opp kala bhairava temple, simhachalam, Old Adavivaram, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530028
Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Telugu lessons for students across grade levels.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, tests, and projects in line with the curriculum and school standards.
• Teach Telugu language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
• Foster interest in Telugu literature, poetry, and cultural heritage through storytelling, recitation, and creative activities.
• Use innovative teaching methods, interactive activities, and technology (smart boards, audio-visual tools) to enhance student learning.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and periodic evaluations.
• Prepare and distribute notes, homework, and other study materials to reinforce classroom instruction.
• Encourage students to participate in Telugu literary events, competitions, and cultural celebrations.
• Organize Telugu Day and other cultural programs to promote the language and culture within the school.
• Collaborate with other subject teachers for interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Communicate with parents during parent-teacher meetings to provide feedback on student progress and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
• Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and developments in the Telugu language and literature.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telugu Language, Telugu Literature, or related field.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
• Prior experience as a Telugu Teacher in a school setting is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Telugu grammar, literature, and teaching techniques.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Telugu and basic English.
• Ability to engage students and create a positive, interactive classroom environment.
• Proficiency in using technology tools such as smart boards and online teaching platforms .
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Passion for teaching and preserving the Telugu language and culture.
