A telesales executive, also known as a telemarketer or telephone salesperson, is a member of a company's sales team who uses phone calls to generate sales. They may work in a call center or as part of the company's telecalling team. Their responsibilities include:
• Persuading customers: Using persuasion skills to convince customers to buy a company's products or services
• Upselling and cross-selling: Selling additional products or services to customers
• Processing orders: Usually done via computer
• Following up with customers: Checking in with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and offering support when needed
• Troubleshooting: Helping customers with problems they have with products or services
• Managing customer accounts: Maintaining customer relationships
• Generating leads: Establishing interest in future sales
• Producing sales reports: Reporting on sales efforts
