Job Summary:
Looking forward for skilled and motivated Telematics/Connectivity domain Validation Engineer to join us.
This position is for validating software and systems for the Telematics ECU to ensure they meet the project requirements, required standards and performance criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed validation plans for Telematics ECU software components (Define test strategies and objectives)
- Hands on experience in developing Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test automation, Testing tools and debugging the embedded software using IDEs, debuggers.
- Perform manual and automated testing of software on test benches.
- Proficient in defect management and tracking tools such as RTC and Jira.
- Debugging and finding root cause analysis
- Experience with Automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, SOMEIP), Diagnostics Standards (UDS, DOIP)
- Hands on experience with Test automation tools like ECU-Test, Test Guide, etc.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Familiarity using dSpace (Control Desk, Automation Desk) and Vector Tools like CANoe etc.
- Performing DLT/PCAP traces analysis
- Generate test reports and validation summaries to communicate test results, progress, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Trigger Validation test suites nightly using CI/CD environment

Desired experience
- Good to have Telematics/connectivity SW validation background
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development process.
- Basic understanding of Linux Operating system and commands
- Past hands-on experience with any programming language
- Hands on experience in FOTA/OTA validation
- Knowledge of IOT protocols like MQTT, LWM2M etc
- Knowledge of websocket communication, Some/ip protocol
