We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of systems, and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.You'll report to the Manager, Network Engineer.During a Typical Day, Youxe2x80x99llxc2xb7 System Management:o Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and application software.o Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.xc2xb7 Knowledge in Network Administration:o LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.o Perform network diagnostics and optimize connectivity and throughput.xc2xb7 Security:o Implement and maintain security policies, firewalls, and antivirus measures.o Conduct regular security assessments and ensure compliance with organizational standards.xc2xb7 User Support:o Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.o Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.xc2xb7 Backup and Recovery:o Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.o Conduct regular testing to ensure data integrity and availability.xc2xb7 Automation and Optimization:o Develop scripts and tools to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.o Research and recommend new technologies to enhance system capabilities.xc2xb7 Documentation:o Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.o Prepare technical reports and user guides as needed.What You Bring to the Role

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
