Job Summary:
The Presale Telecaller is responsible for initiating contact with potential customers, qualifying leads, and scheduling follow-ups to drive the sales pipeline. The role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to effectively present the company's offerings over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Identify and contact potential customers through cold calling, email, or other channels.
Utilize company-provided databases to source leads.
Qualification of Leads:
Understand customer needs and qualify them as potential leads for the sales team.
Ask probing questions to determine customer interest and fit for the company's products/services.
Presentation and Follow-up:
Provide accurate information about the products or services to prospective customers.
Schedule follow-up calls and maintain regular communication with potential customers.
Data Management:
Document customer interactions, feedback, and status updates in the CRM system.
Maintain and update lead databases for effective tracking and follow-ups.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
Pass qualified leads to the Design team with detailed information about customer requirements.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and improve conversion rates.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: Diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in telecalling, sales, or customer service (preferably in a similar industry).
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software, telephony systems, and basic office tools (e.g., MS Office).
Other Skills: Persuasive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with strong time management abilities.
