Job Title: Tele-Optometry or Remote OptometryLocation: GurugramTerms: In office - Full time Job minimum 9 hours of work for 6 days.Salary: Best as per industry standardsAbout the role Tele Optometry or Remote Optometry:Tele-optometry refers to an assessment of a customer's ocular health via telecommunication technology in the absence of store optometrist. Tele optometry is a promising and well-received approach to connect optometrists and customers to deliver eye care to individuals where access and resources may be limited. So Lenskart is seeking Qualified Optometrists for our tele-optometry program. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, you will deliver live vision care and ocular services remotely with the support of an in-store technician and team.We are seeking a professional and knowledgeable Remote Care Optometrist to join our team. The ideal fit for the role will have a strong background in vision and sight and be personable and customer focused! The focus of the role is to test customer's vision, ensure they are seeing correctly with the visual aids they currently have, and complete eye testing to recommend the prescription with the well suited frame / lens alongwith.What is the Benefits of Lenskart Tele Optometrist:

Responsibilities:- Establishing a remote connect with customers coming to Lenskart stores ,to understand their visual challenges,requirements and needs.- Conducting remote eye tests with the given protocol and accepted standards, to ascertain the level of assistance as per the customer needs.- Complete remote eye testings and provide education to the customer on the recommended frame / lens/ contact lens type.- Assist with the screening of eye conditions to make referrals to other healthcare providers when possible.- Explain the benefits of wearing their corrective aids and how it will improve their overall eye health in the long term- Advising the customer upon the next scheduled eye test date basis the 6 months suggested period- Updating the customer power in systems and navigating the customer to download the Digital Prescription via Lenskart App- Track and maintain the required eye test quantum, eye to buy conversions and eye test quality metricsRequirements:- Degree in Optometry with minminum 2-3 Years of retail experience-Technical Proficiencies including basic computer troubleshooting , familiarity with MS windows- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to form relationships with people from various backgrounds and ages- Demonstrated knowledge of using various optometry equipment- Strong problem-solving skills
