We are seeking a motivated and passionate Tele-Counselor to join our team. The Tele-Counselor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to prospective and current students through telephonic interactions. The ideal candidate will have a background in the education sector, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to student success.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct outbound calls to prospective students to provide information about our educational programs, admissions process, and available resources.
• Respond to inbound inquiries from students via phone, email, or other communication channels, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist students in navigating the enrollment process, including completing applications, submitting required documents, and understanding financial aid options.
• Provide personalized counseling sessions to students to assess their educational goals, interests, and academic needs, and offer appropriate guidance and support.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as admissions, financial aid, and academic advising, to ensure a seamless student experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and communications using our CRM system.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance counseling skills and knowledge of educational trends and best practices.
• Assist in organizing and conducting virtual events, such as webinars and information sessions, to engage prospective students and promote our institution.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Proven work experience as a counselor, advisor, or in a similar role within the education sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach to serving students' needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant technology tools.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
• Knowledge of educational policies, procedures, and regulations preferred.
