This is an integral Role within a small team reporting to the Head of Marketing. This role is ideal for a candidate who is to be involved in the full marketing & business development having a high level of input working closely with business stakeholders. Responsibilities
Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services (debt management, cash management, insurance coverage, investments)
Assess client\xe2\x80\x99s overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan
Guide clients towards a profitable and secure financial decision
Cultivate client base and build win-win relationships
Network, generate leads and grab opportunities to sell mutual funds, stocks, bonds etc to meet sales quotas
Keep abreast of new industry\xe2\x80\x99s trends and research market to back up financial consulting
Oversee the course of the financial plan and update it, if necessary, to ensure profits
Comply with all industry rules and regulations
Understands and adheres to the company\xe2\x80\x99s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls. Maintains internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Uses sales tools and modules to conduct the analysis and offer the best advice and products and customer understanding of solutions.
Engaging with new and existing clients on a daily basis to better understand their short- and long-term financial goals
Monitoring client portfolios to ensure these meet their progress and target requirements
Providing tax, income, and estate guidance for clients while being able to answer questions
Regularly attending training sessions to stay up-to-date with regulatory or industry changes
Assisting with marketing and communications to help grow their customer base
Proactively resolving or preventing banking or portfolio problems
Educating clients to ensure they understand how their money is being managed
Requirements and skills
Proven working experience as a Financial Adviser, Controller, Planner, Specialist or relevant experience
Track record of successful financial guidance
Ability to analyse market\xe2\x80\x99s financial data and to provide appropriate data-based advice
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
Excellent PC knowledge and ability to operate database systems
