Job Description

We are looking for Sr. Modeler, who Creates models in accordance with customer requirements and engineers design constraints and handles the team accordingly.

Roles & responsibilities include:

• Studying & Understanding project related documents.
• Able to study structural drawings and be able to execute detailed projects.
• Ability to develop shop drawing models for manufacturing structural steel.
• Capable of preparing and raising RFIs.
• Modelling with respect to structural drawings & architectural drawings (where necessary).
• Experience in Template editing and in preparation of custom components.
• Having experience in Connection applications.
• Responsible for the project along with the team leader.
• Responsible for completing the projects within target date with service quality.
• Following all QA/QC Procedure.
• Planning and monitoring junior team members, reporting status.
• Study scope of work, customer specifications and contract drawings.
• Training and coaching junior team members.

Qualification & Skills:

• BE/ B. Tech/ Diploma in either Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 5- 8 years of Experience in Structural Steel Detailing using 3D modelling program.
• TEKLA Structures experience is mandatory.
• Advance knowledge of 3D modeling using Tekla Structures.
• Exposure to US Commercial Projects.
• Must have knowledge of AISC & CISC Standards for at least 3 years.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong analytical skills.
