Job Description

A Tekla Detailer leverages Tekla software to create detailed 3D models for construction projects. Responsibilities include drafting blueprints, ensuring accuracy of designs, and collaborating with architects and engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software
• Generate fabrication drawings and material lists from the models
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs
• Use industry standards and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency of designs
• Communicate with fabricators and contractors to ensure successful fabrication and construction of structures
• Review and analyze project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance
• Participate in design and construction meetings as needed
• Continuously update and improve skills and knowledge of Tekla Structures software and industry trends

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Tekla Structures software
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Experience in creating detailed shop and fabrication drawings for steel structures
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to steel detailing
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers and architects
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve design issues
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D modeling software is a plus

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
