JOB DESCRIPTION Machine Learning - Associate Process Manager India | Full-time (FT) | Technology Shift Timings - General (10 A.M to 7 P.M) or EMEA (1 P.M to 10 P.M.)| Management Level - Assistant Manager | Travel Requirements - 10-15% Specialism - Map-reduce, Yarn, Machine Learning, neural networks, Hbase, Python, R, Hadoop, Java/Python and Linux We are looking for an analyst with 4+ years of experience in the Hadoop platform or Machine Learning to join our team. As a part of our Technology/Solutions leadership team, you will be directly working with stakeholders to understand long-term strategic and mid-term business goals. You will be conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the implementation of solutions using scalable software architecture designs. The candidate must possess in-depth functional knowledge of the process area and apply it to operational scenarios to provide effective solutions. He/she must be able to identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions by using a logical, systematic, and sequential methodology. It is vital to be open-minded towards inputs and views from team members and to effectively lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objects. Additionally, he/she must be self-directed, proactive and seize every opportunity to meet internal and external customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction by effectively auditing processes, implementing best practices and process improvements, and utilizing the frameworks and tools available. Goals and thoughts must be clearly and concisely articulated and conveyed, verbally and in writing, to clients, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors. As a Data Scientist, you will work on either the Hadoop platform or Machine Learning. You should possess demonstrable excellence in innovation, problem-solving, analytical skills, data structures and design patterns. Machine Learning - Associate Process Manager Responsibilities 4+ years of experience in IT projects 2+ years of experience in projects on either the Hadoop platform or Machine learning Excellent knowledge of either Java or one of the scripting languages python/R In Hadoop, should have good knowledge of multiple tools in the ecosystem such as Apache - Hive, Oozie, Hbase, Pig, Spark, and Scala In the scripting language, should have good knowledge of machine learning techniques, statistical models, scripting with Hadoop In Java, should have exposure to map-reduce algorithm Should be technologically savvy with an awareness of new technology developments Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technical or related field and a minimum of two years related IT development experience. Preferred Qualifications Extensive experience with Hadoop and Machine learning algorithms Demonstrable excellence in innovation, problem-solving, analytical skills, data structures and design patterns Experience in refactoring and re-engineering of enterprise systems and a good understanding of functional aspects
