Technology Service Specialist, Associate Position Overview Job Title - Technology Service Specialist Location - Pune Role Description The Technology Services Specialist works as a member of the IT department and provides second level production services and end level technologies to different clients and business lines across Deutsche Bank. They work as the point of contact and the escalation point for members of the business and ensure effective restoration of product services by taking control of and managing each incident. In this role, they will interact directly with several different populations. The Technology Services Specialist will liaise directly with IT Application Owners and CIO, IT infrastructure groups, Operations, and key business stakeholders. What we\'ll offer you As part of our flexible scheme, here are just some of the benefits that you\'ll enjoy Best in class leave policy Gender neutral parental leaves 100% reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit (gender neutral) Sponsorship for Industry relevant certifications and education Employee Assistance Program for you and your family members Comprehensive Hospitalization Insurance for you and your dependents Accident and Term life Insurance Complementary Health screening for 35 yrs. and above Your key responsibilities An experienced Desktop SRE will Manage and run production environments that deliver the Bank\'s Desktop & VDI products at the L3 layer, possessing strong administrative/operational experience in VDI infra along with automation The SME will be responsible for: Knowledge of supporting large organizations in globally diverse locations Knowledge and experience of supporting and administrating enterprise level Windows devices and configuration and management systems Working experience in developing scripts in PowerShell, Python and Ansible (Playbooks) Working experience in follow-the-sun level 2 and level 3 support teams model Support Level 2/3 experience in Windows desktop operating systems The troubleshooting and resolution of issues with the NextGen VDI infrastructure, supporting services and dependencies Performing security administration tasks, such as certificate renewals, on a periodic basis in line with agreed service levels Performing disaster recovery testing on a periodic basis in line with agreed service levels Patching, maintenance and remediation on the Windows Desktop environment and supporting services Providing efficient, effective and timely support to compliance and legal on surveillance activities and data discovery requests and investigations Ensuring production installations of the platforms and additional components are compliant with the Bank\'s information security standards Providing support of release of changes into the production environment for managing and improving the operational run books and supporting documentation Your skills and experience Demonstrable experience in upgrading, installing, configuring and supporting some or all of the technologies employed within Deutsche Bank\'s nextGen VDI and Cloud strategy, including: 1.NextGen Platform on HCI (Hyperconverged Infrastructure) 2.Citrix 3.VMware 4.Nutanics 5.Windows Operating Systems Demonstrable experience in playing leading role in a global level 3 or similar team and working within an ITIL/Agile or similar process. Demonstratable experience administrating a Windows Operating system environment Strong career interest with a focus on professional improvement focused on NextGen VDI and Hyperconverged Infrastructure. Comfortable working in a team with a diverse skill set, location and culture across different countries. Must be adaptable and quickly understand the new technologies / emerging markets. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand and present clear solutions to problems. Proven track record in problem solving, within a medium to large enterprise environment. The candidate will operate within a team for supporting the Global On-Call rota, facilitate weekend changes, and remote support where required.
