Your key responsibilities

• Oversee the design and development of database architectures.
• Manage the deployment and maintenance of data-driven applications on cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP.
• Lead the development of microservices-based cloud applications.
• Ensure robust DevOps practices are in place and followed.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting complex technical information in a clear manner.
• Manage IT infrastructure to support application development and deployment.
• Run Agile functions and Scrum processes efficiently.
• Oversee large application development projects from inception to completion.

Your skills and experience

• 15 to 20 years of IT experience, with a focus on database development and cloud applications.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Extensive experience with DevOps engineering and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Data Science concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and its role in application development.
• Proven experience in running Agile functions and Scrum processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale application development projects.
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in banking technology.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.
