:Job Title: Project Manager / Scrum MasterLocation: Pune, IndiaRole DescriptionThis role is for Project Manager/Scrum Master who is responsible for delivery of the value and strategic outcomes of their Change BoW that ensures successful transition into the organizations goals, processes, and technologies. The Scrum Master operates at Squad level and is a change agent with a passion for working with people and teams to help them maximize the value created by the Squad. They will do this by helping the team understand Agile theory, practices and values and translating this into practice by running the standard Agile ceremonies. The Scrum master develops and leads multi-discipline team(s), helping them to deliver value by facilitating progress and coaching them into a self-organized team. Your key responsibilities
  • Play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects.
  • Enables team to be fully functional and productive.
  • Enables close cooperation across roles and functions internal and external to the scrum team.
  • Develop the Squad as a self-organized team that is responsible and accountable for delivering business value.
  • Shares responsibility for quality of work delivered by Candidate/Applicant team. Holds Candidate/Applicant and the team accountable.
  • Coordinates and facilitates sprint/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Focuses on resolving blockers to keep the team concentrated on the engineering tasks.
  • Shields the team from external interference that might decrease focus.
  • Ensures that the team lives by the values and practices of scrum.
  • Plays a crucial interface role between the technical team and the product owner, ensuring there is good collaboration.
  • Lead multiple Agile teams on Agile methodologies with a servant leadership style.
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog
  • Removing any impediments, guiding teams to solve problems, and using mistakes for as a development tool.
  • Provide Agile coaching & leadership to the Squad team members to embed the Agile values and practices.
Your skills and experience
  • Total 10+ Years of experience with relevant Scrum Master experience of minimum 5+ years in a software driven environment, ideally banking or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile principles and frameworks: e.g., Scrum, SAFe - Minimum 5 years.
  • Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair working, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Good Knowledge about the core SDLC processes and tools such as HP ALM, Jira, Service Now
  • Goods skills of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
  • Scrum Master certified and experienced
  • Understand and promote agile values: FROCC (Focus, Respect, Openness, Commitment, and Courage)
  • A great team player who is comfortable helping point out impediments.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Experience with distributed, multi-locations teams.
  • Able to inspire and motivate people and multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams.
  • Experience or technical knowledge in financial environments is an added advantage.
  • Very strong communication skills Experience in coaching / mentoring.
  • Certified practitioner to enable and train teams on the best Agile practices.
  • Experience in in other Agile approaches such as Kanban and XP would be desirable Background as an engineer/developer, tester, or business analyst desirable.
  • Having CSM, Leading SAFe, ICP-ACC is an advantage.
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Open minded and willing to learn business and technology.
