Technology Consultant This role has been designed as Onsite with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE partner/customer office.

Apply advanced technical knowledge to operate one or more technology areas (e.g. server administration, technical security management, performance management) or customer groups that are critical or high- risk.
Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create. solutions for customers.
Resolve single- and cross- technology incidents independently. Work with team members to resolve unusually complex or cross- technology incidents.
Proactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring in team/technology area.
Apply company solutions to meet highly complex customer needs.
Identify additional services that could lead to future service revenue growth.
Provide technical consulting during contract renewal discussions.
Build and maintain strong relationship up to senior management level in assigned accounts.
Design and deliver support solutions using specific industry knowledge and expertise.
Assist in managing delivery of industry support solutions.
Lead Customer Expectation management as part of escalation process.
Lead cross-team or large programs/projects.
Coach or guide junior consultants..
What you need to bring: Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree holder (technical field) with 5- 8 years working experience in related fields desired.
Knowledge and Skills:
Delivery / Hands-on Experience on HPE Compute Platforms and HPE Storage Platforms
Deep knowledge on Linux Platforms; preferably knowledgeable on Microsoft OS and its Management stack
Good knowledge on Networking fundamentals and Linux Networking delivery skills.
Comprehensive and working knowledge of Linux (Redhat/SUSE)
Design, Build and Migrate in SUSE/Redhat Linux platform
Familiar with Data Center Virtualization and Hosting Architecture
Experience in Design, Implementing and maintaining VMWare vSphere
Troubleshooting and remediation of KVM, VMware environment (vSphere and Tanzu)
OS and patch management with Linux Patch Management Tools
Cluster configuration, management and troubleshooting. Experience in deployment of Pacemaker Cluster.
Proficiencies in monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning SLES and red hat.
Experience on container and Kubernetes
Perform health check of VM and host performance, resource utilization, fine-tuning etc.
Virtualization process & documentation
Performance analysis reports for trend analysis in the environment.
P2V, V2V migrations using VMware Converter & other industry standard tools.
Handle issues related to VMware (HA & Motion issues, cluster configuration issues)
Have experience on Linux server, Patching and Hardening
Automate the tasks by creating scripts using Ansible and Python as per the customers requirement
Have Certifications relevant to Linux, Virtualization & Infra Automation
Skills - Advantage: In the DevOps area, the Technical Consultant must have broad experience in Consultancy, Design, and Implementation projects, with Operations and Development background,
good knowledge of CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, Gitlab, Azure DevOps, ),
programming/scripting languages (python, JavaScript, PowerShell, groovy, go),
REST APIs interactions, App testing Engines (pytest, inspect, molecule) and
Control version repositories (Git).
Skills - Preferable: (not mandatory)
Experience in the cloud infrastructure project to public clouds such as AWS and Azure using technologies such as AWS SMS, Azure Migrate, Plate Spin and CloudEndure.
Certification on AWS or Azure - e.g., Amazon Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional Level
Understanding of hybrid cloud solutions and experience of integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models
Strong understanding of cloud migration techniques and workflows (on-premises to Cloud Platforms)
