Description:Operational\xc2\xb7 Works closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.\xc2\xb7 Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of We work through Teams.\xc2\xb7 Carries out and completes all maintenance works/requests according to the established schedule and ensures high quality of finishing work. Pays particular attention to guest related jobs.\xc2\xb7 Operates assigned machines/ equipment or Primary Plant as to provide continuous and consistent utilities required for operations.\xc2\xb7 Handles the verification, storage and utilisation of all fuel deliveries to the premises as per the established policy and procedures.\xc2\xb7 Avoids unsightly hazards and complies with all local regulations and codes.\xc2\xb7 Properly handles and maintains all power tools.\xc2\xb7 Submits request to the Team Leader - Engineering for the purchases of parts and consumables.\xc2\xb7 Ensures cleanliness of all work areas and protects the surroundings when executing duties.\xc2\xb7 Ensures effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations\xc2\xb7 Ensures fire, life and safety systems are operational.\xc2\xb7 Performs emergency procedures relating to fire, life and safety; e.g., such as attending to fire alarms, lift rescue.\xc2\xb7 Ensures timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.\xc2\xb7 Reports any abnormal conditions noticed at any time in line with safety related equipment or installation to Team Leader - Engineering.\xc2\xb7 Assists other Technicians when requested by Superiors.\xc2\xb7 Provides a courteous and professional service at all times.\xc2\xb7 Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing a prompt follow-up.\xc2\xb7 Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.People\xc2\xb7 Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatts Values and Culture Characteristics.Other duties\xc2\xb7 Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.\xc2\xb7 Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.\xc2\xb7 Maintains strong, professional relationship with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations.\xc2\xb7 Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.\xc2\xb7 Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.\xc2\xb7 Responds to changes in the Engineering function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar position.

• Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.

• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
