Job Purpose: The Technician is responsible for testing and solving service-related technical problems in the EDG Workshop as well as on-site as per the customer requirement and as mentioned in job card.
Reports To: Supervisor (in the absence, reports to the acting Team Leader)

Key job responsibilities
Troubleshoots all customer problems in their respective line of service
Inspects all customer parts and service requirements accurately
Conducts visual inspection and prepares technical test report for each unit.
Helps the Supervisor (in the absence, help the acting Team Leader) in preparing the estimation.
Keeps tools and equipment in order and in proper designated work area.
Responsible for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
Tests equipment for proper operation
Assists the Supervisor (in the absence, assist the acting Team Leader) in maintaining time records at each stage of Work Order.
Keeps himself up-to-date with latest technology, new methods, availability of parts and services.
Mechanical \xe2\x80\x93 company sponsored programs, vendor sponsored programs.
Qualification and Experience Required
Academic Qualification/
Minimum of a diploma or certification in ITIL or Automobile Servicing workshops
Work Experience
Minimum 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with significant background
Any special licenses or certifications

Functional Skills/knowledge required
Requires basic working knowledge of equipment operation and associated operating systems
Ability to use diagnostic equipment
