We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and contribute to the development of comprehensive technical documentation for our electric propulsion systems and related components. The Technical Writer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers and stakeholders have access to clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that facilitates the understanding, installation, operation, and maintenance of our products. Key Responsibilities: Content Development:
Research, analyze, and interpret technical specifications, engineering data, and product information to create a range of technical documents, including but not limited to datasheets, user manuals, spec sheets, instruction guides, and other technical documentation. Document Creation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and quality assurance specialists, to gather information and insights necessary for the development of technical documentation. Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise written content that is accessible to various stakeholders, including end-users, technicians, and support personnel. Documentation Review and Revision: Review and edit existing technical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and industry best practices. Incorporate feedback from subject matter experts and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality and usability of technical documentation. Standardization and Documentation Management:
Establish and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and other standards to ensure consistency and coherence across all technical documents. Manage document versioning, updates, and revisions using appropriate documentation management tools and systems. Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on all technical documents to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards. Identify and address any discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in technical content. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in technical communication, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in the aerospace, aviation, or electronics industry.
Proficiency in interpreting technical specifications, engineering drawings, and schematics.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
Familiarity with industry-standard documentation tools and software, such as Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, and Visio.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to aerospace and aviation products is a plus.
