About the Role
The Technical Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of technical training programs for Neuron employees and Partners /Customers. This role ensures that the workforce and channel is well equipped with the necessary technical skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. The Technical Training Manager works closely with subject matter experts, P&C, and departmental managers to identify training needs, design curriculum, and deliver engaging training material and sessions.
What You'll Do
Training Program Development:
• Design and develop technical training programs and materials, including e-learning modules, hands-on workshops, and instructional manuals.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date.
Training Needs Assessment:
• Conduct training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers.
• Analyse performance data to identify skills gaps and training opportunities.
Training Delivery:
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions.
• Ensure training programs are engaging, interactive, and effective in meeting learning objectives.
Evaluation and Improvement:
• Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically.
• Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to make continuous improvements to training programs.
Leadership and Management:
• Manage the training budget, resources, and training schedules.
• Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure all training activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate training records and provide regular reports to senior management.
What You'll Need
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical training or a related role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing successful technical training programs.
Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in developing and delivering training materials for Network Software Defined WAN, Router, Firewall, and Cloud technologies.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in e-learning software and tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
• Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts.
Certifications:
• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar certification.
Working Conditions:
• This position typically works in an office environment but may require occasional travel to various company sites or training venues.
• Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours to accommodate training schedules.
