Job Overview:
As the Elevator Industry Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees across different departments. You will work closely with department heads and management with subject matter experts to identify training needs, develop training materials, and facilitate engaging learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of elevator systems and operations, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver effective training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with department heads and management to assess training needs and develop training plans aligned with organizational objectives and employee development goals.
Design and develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos, and interactive modules, tailored to the specific needs of each department and role within the organization.
Deliver engaging and informative training sessions, workshops, and seminars on various topics related to elevator manufacturing, installation, maintenance, safety, and customer service.
Utilize a variety of training methodologies, such as classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, simulations, and e-learning platforms, to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, quizzes, and feedback mechanisms, and continuously refine training programs based on participant feedback and performance outcomes.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to elevator operations, maintenance, and safety, and incorporate relevant updates into training content.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to employees to reinforce learning and encourage skill development on the job.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and participant performance, and generate reports to track training effectiveness and compliance with training requirements.
Collaborate with external training providers, industry associations, and certification bodies to leverage external resources and enhance the effectiveness of training programs
Qualifications:
Proven experience in training and development, with a focus on elevator industry training or related technical training programs.
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners of all levels.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in instructional design principles, training delivery techniques, and learning management systems.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and management to achieve training objectives.
