Supervisory Responsibilities: 1. Supervise Harman appointed service centers (ASC) across India, in product repair and or testing activities directly or through RSMs. 2. Ensure that ASCs are performing fault analysis, repair activities and testing in accordance with the organization\'s policies and applicable laws. 3. Responsible to evaluate the technical capability of newly proposed ASCs and their technical staff, if necessary. Job Responsibilities: Responsible to provide Technical Support to the Authorized Service Centers across the country and to partners in SAARC countries. Provide Technical training on existing products and NPI to RSMs/ASCs and channel partners. Support RSMs, ASCs and SAARC country partners to find out the spare sku codes from system when required Visit customer sites if system installation and or product handling is suspected or when multiple/repeated failures are reported from site Prepare and maintain Do\'s and Don\'ts for products and educate partners on proper handling and maintenance of products Visit ASCs periodically to ensure that service center set up and technical resources are in line with organizational requirement and policies. Laision with customers/channel partners/RSMs and ASCs to understand the details of installation and or product issues. Laision with BU for technical support/spare codification for NPIs/quality issues/design issues Handling global CRM by registering calls wherever support is required or in case of escalations Laision with BU to arrange technical training on existing products and NPI Laision with cross functional teams such as sales, application and SCM team on fault identification and rectification and product re export if required any Technical training to new ASCs and technicians and RSMs Preparation and maintenance of technical guide with unusual fault indications, analysis and rectification methods Preparation and maintenance of Field Failure Rate analysis report- Monthly report generation and keep BU updated Maintanance and distribution of tech notes issued by BU on critical design change or for better product performance Timely testing and feedback for developing quality products in India locally, if any Identification of quality componenets and sourcing for ASCs if not available for impoty from BU Laision with Refurbishment Center and offer them necessary support such as diagrams, sample products or components from Harman to improve their performance and thereby to reduce overall warranty cost Support Service Manager and SCM team in spare parts planning and forecast for NPI and MSL based on failure rate. Achievement of Service deliverables through AHSCs and enhancement of Customer Satisfaction. Required Qualifications: Bachelors in Engineering - Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication/ Instrumentation or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/telecommunications Prefered Qualifications: Prior Experience in Professional audio industry Minimum Five years of supervisory experience Mimnimum experience of 10-12 years in Tech Support role Certification in AMX/Crestron/any other Control products in AV industry Additional Qualifications: Certification of CCNA/CTS or any equivalent courses Hands on experience in digital mixing consoles and Networked products Preferred Skill Sets: Proficiency in EXCEL, MS-Word and Power Point Leadership: Demonstrate character, clarity, courage and commitment to high-performance Build environment of trust, high performance and engagement by establishing clear goals and a commitment to feedback, development and recognition Change Orientation: Champion a better, faster and simpler way of doing things Apply original thinking and continuous improvement to processes, products, systems or services and manage change to better serve customer needs Collaboration: Connect, engage and communicate with others Encourage open expression of ideas; communicate effectively at all levels and build strong relationships Judgment: Make sound decisions Demonstrate critical thinking to take appropriate risk and make sound and timely decisions Results-Driven: Deliver extraordinary results Take initiative to achieve superior, quality results against internal or external standards of excellence Eligibility Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50% Willingness to work in an office located in Bangalore, India.
