About the internshipSelected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Evaluate customer requirements and develop turnkey machine vision systems solutions for manufacturing applications.
2. Evaluate and select lighting and optics to create an imaging front end.
3. Data collection of the samples provided by the customers.
4. Preparation of feasibility report.
5. Integrate turnkey machine vision system with robot and automation equipment and make adjustments, troubleshoot and debug system.
6. Need to travel and work in factory environment to install and support machine vision system to make sure all machines are qualified and ready for production according to schedule.
7. May provide supervision to other team members at machine builder sites and contract manufacturer (CM) production sites.
8. Help to prepare Standard Operating Procedures for machine vision setup, train other team members, and provide support during overall machine setup and maintenance.
9. Troubleshooting and analysis of the issues that happened on site, and providing failure analysis (FA) reports.
10. Communicate with both internal and external customers to establish good working relationships.
11. Provide daily status and progress reports and attend update meetings.
12. Capable of providing rapid response and problem-solving, knows when to escalate and obtain help when necessary.
13. Willing to travel according to support needs. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering fields like mechatronics, computer technology, automation, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.2. Proficiency in English and Hindi (spoken and written).3. 0 to 1 year of experience in automation equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.4. Familiarity with MS Windows-based PCs and Linux is preferred.5. Basic knowledge of electrical device setup and operation.6. Experience with vision systems is a plus.7.
