As Technical Support at Kyndryl, you'll be part of an elite team that provides exceptional technical assistance, enabling our clients to achieve their desired business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Lead OS and middleware patching activities for AIX systems.Analyze and assess patch requirements and their impact on infrastructure and applications.Create and maintain detailed work plans and procedures based on existing design documents, past procedures, and templates.Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure successful implementation of changes.Review customer-requested changes, provide feedback, and implement them in a timely manner.Execute patching and maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to system operationsFundamental concepts and technologies associated with AIX Operating SystemsSAN S/W and storage administration and integration with operating systemWork Environment:Work will be conducted on-site in a Security Room with access to necessary systems and tools to perform tasks securely.If you're a technical wizard, a customer service superstar, and have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, we want you to join our team.Your Future at Kyndryl

And finally, youxe2x80x99re open and borderless xe2x80x93 naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Technical and Professional Expertise7+ years of strong hands-on experience with AIX systems administration, patching, and troubleshooting.Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and DB2.Experience in supporting IBM AIX (6.1, 7.1, 7.2) and P-Series server technologies in a business infrastructure environment is a must.Experience of administering and supporting multiple systems in a complex and distributed environment, including the day to day management of resources and issues.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in managing AIX systems in a similar role.Familiarity with middleware management and patching processes.Experience in a high-security work environment.Being YouDiversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, itxe2x80x99s how we think and who we are.
