Job Overview TE Connectivity\'s Technical Engineering Support Teams analyze, test and assist in research for the development of products and processes. Team members may specialize in quality control or assurance, chemical manufacturing processes, metals, electrical connectors and components, process development, materials, and/or instrumentation. Learn more at www.te.com ROLE OBJECTIVE The Product Technical Specialist-I will report to the Supervisor of Product Engineering and will be a member of the AT India Digital Engineering team. He will be responsible for sustaining engineering support for existing products, computer-aided design and drafting of products. This will also require interactions with various cross functional teams across the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES . Create 3D models and Drawings. . Create Engineering Changes. . Create an EBOM for new products with the support of engineering documents. EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE . B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical engineering. . Minimum 2-5-year Experience in Product life cycle management role. . Knowledge of AUTOCAD, CREO and PDM Link or experience with similar design tools . Hands on experience in design tools such as GD&T, DFMEA, DFM, and Tolerance Stack-ups . Good Knowledge and hands on experience in PDM windchill & PLM software. . To contribute to achieving departmental targets - specifically on the KPIs related to development and sustaining activities. . Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision linked to the Engineering team. . Proficient in the MS Office suite .
