About The Role We are seeking a hands-on and mission focused software developer who is passionate about building Cloud based solutions for our IT Governance team. Candidate should posses expertise and knowledge about the rapidly changing Cloud landscape and partner with internal architecture and security teams to identify pain points, identify cloud wastage, extract cloud service and resource metrics for data analysis and recognize patterns that will support Governance initiatives. As a Cloud developer you will be responsible for desigining, implementing and managing Cloud based solutions that will help us build Data analytics systems and reporting solutions. Proficency in Cloud infrastructure operations including monitoring, patching , backup, cost analysis, access control and devops is a must. Should have extensive experience with Cloud services like S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, Codepipelines, IAM, cloud storage and others. Candidate must have strong expertise in designing and implementing AWS and AZURE based solutions, and be knowledgable about CICD, Cloud Security and Cloud networking concepts. Experienced with scripting languages like Python is a must. Candidate should have proven experience in designing and development of a KPI reporting system that will reduce manual workload and improve data analysis accuracy. Skills related to KPI reporting, Data Analysis, Data Visualizations, Process Automation, Cloud Computing and Data-driven decision making are critical for this position. This position should have a good background in data management, and business analysis and will work directly with Governance, Finops, Finance and various IT teams to help visualize cloud data, discover and share insights, and ultimately assist in making better decisions. This is highly visible and strategic role and will require the candidate to use a mix of SQL, ETL, data warehouse concepts, data modeling, business analysis, reporting and scripting skills to create data insights. Job Duties In Brief Design, develop, deploy and manage Cloud Governance solutions to extract and analyze various cloud metrics that would provide insights into optimization opportunities; Propose and implement innovative solutions in alignment with cloud strategies; Colloborate with stakeholders to define and implement governance policy enforcement and best practices for Cloud deployments. In this role you will colloborate with Governance, Architecture, Security and Development teams to develop cloud based solutions. Design, architect and develop analytics solutions for various Cloud metrics that can be visualized using tools like Qlik, quickview etc. Build required process and systems for optimal data extraction and transformation from a wide variety of Cloud based data sources using SQL and AWS service expertise. Translate reporting needs and requirements to technical specifications, analyze data, create proof of concepts, design functional specifications; Follow appropriate data integration, management and retention standards, documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications. If required, develop Lambda functions, python code and ETL procedures to retrieve data from Cloud based resources. About You You should have atleast 10+ years of Software development experience of which 5+ years of experience is in Cloud based development with a focus on Cloud infrastructure ansd services; You must have extensive experience working with AWS and Azure Cloud API\'s. Advanced degree (Bachelor\'s, etc.) in computer science or related field preferred. Experience in end-to-end project lifecycle (requirements, design, testing and deployment) will be a plus. Demonstrated experience with infrastructure-as-code software, such as Terraform and CFN templates. Demonstrated experience with maintaining tools built to automate deployment and management of AWS environments Have demonstrated experience maintaining solutions based on infrastructure-as-code software and proven experience-deploying solutions onto AWS and Azure. Demonstrated experience developing a multi-vendor cloud infrastructure and deploying multi-vendor cloud communications solutions Proficiency using cloud-native cost reporting services AWS cost explorer or Azure Cost management and Billing. Knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as SQL queries and Python is a must. Cloud and other technical certifications will be a distinct advantage. Good understanding of data ingestion, transformation of structured as well as semi-structured data across cloud services. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organization, analytical and interpersonal skills. Acts with integrity and proactively seeks ways to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures . The candidate will be a team player and a self-starter with agile learning abilities. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with business and technical teams.
