Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Life Science Technical Sales Specialist to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in life sciences and a passion for driving sales and customer satisfaction. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our extensive range of cutting-edge products, including cDNA clones, lab reagents, molecular biology tools, lab plasticware and research solutions. You will play a crucial role in building strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth for the company.
Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify and prospect potential customers in the assigned territory to expand the customer base. Develop strategies to reach out to new clients and promote our products effectively.
Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio, which include, cloning, gene synthesis, recombinant protein, antibodies as well as other research solutions. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements to offer expert guidance to customers.
Customer Support: Provide pre-sales technical support to customers by understanding their research needs and recommending the most suitable products. Address customer inquiries promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Sales Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline, generating leads, and converting them into successful sales. Regularly report sales activities, forecasts, and progress to the sales management team.
Territory Management : Plan and execute sales strategies within the assigned territory, including organizing product demonstrations, attending conferences, workshops, and other relevant events to build brand awareness and generate sales opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to communicate customer feedback, market trends, and insights. Collaborate on new product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
arket Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth. Use this knowledge to formulate effective sales strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Proven experience in technical sales within the life science industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of cDNA clones, molecular biology techniques, and related research products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build lasting relationships.
Ability to articulate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for scientific advancements and customer satisfaction.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
