The Technical Sales Executive - Pharma is responsible for accelerating growth for the Super disintegrants range of excipients in India by maintaining a strong business pipeline & being consistent in gaining new wins, focus on \'Import substitute\' replacing/convert new business leads through persuasive technical sales using allied resources and develop growth strategies for broadening new product portfolio in Pharma & Nutraceuticals. Core Responsibilities Services existing accounts, forecasts, follow up and receives order. Achieving Monthly sales and collection targets Ensuring on time payments and supporting DS/Finance for recovery when required Pursuing new business with new accounts and existing customers Resolving customer complaints by providing technical solutions and avoiding its reoccurrence. Continuous Market update/mapping existing products and new products Vs competition Map competitor\'s landscape/ analysis with help of web and import data\'s/internal market intelligence. Product positioning as per markets- Regulatory/Exports and Domestic Providing regulatory support with respect to product qualification with the help of regulatory team Initiating, completing, and maintaining all necessary mandatory registrations as per local laws Identifying new products and initiating product development internally Supporting Regulatory, Quality and production team for new product development wherever required such as providing inputs about local or global regulatory specific to pharmaceutical industry. Supply chain- Receiving adequate forecast from customers and liaising with supply chain in order to ensure timely dispatches. Customer Service- Liaising with CS department for dispatches and payments related issues, assisting team and getting involved whenever needed for recoveries and dispatch related issues. Finance- Understanding and deciding product pricing as per Input price and market scenarios. Deciding and updating payment terms for existing and new customers. Regulatory - Coordinate both internally & externally in registering new products filing dossiers. Identifying and attending Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical related exhibitions to generate market data, competitor landscape and position Ingredion brand. Mandatory Requirements Qualified candidates will have: Minimum Degree in Pharmacy preferably from a reputed Pharmaceutical University 4 to 5 years\' experience in Excipient/API Industry with good relations in the Pharma industry including but, not limited to the Top 10 India Pharma companies in India & BD Strong interpersonal skill, effective team player and enjoy working with people in all levels. Ability to lead projects, drive for results and business savvy. Self-motivated and to be able to bring in and drive ideas efficiently. Desirable Requirements Excipients Product sales & application knowledge (Hands-on experience in Starches/Polyols would be an advantage) Product positioning skills, create alternate vendor opportunities creating threshold to penetrate competition. Reporting ability. Taking detailed tech briefs from customers/prospects and optimize the use of Sales tools like SFDC. Decision making skills/Owners mindset. Taking calculative risks and ownership of its results. Empower and grow the distributors and monitor their growth. Set target and conduct regular business reviews.
