Project Manager leading embedded Linux solutions Software project. Qualifications B.E/B.Tech Additional Information Minimum 8 years out of which atleast 2 years in Project ManagementTasks / Responsibilities: Activity and resource planning, Organizing and motivating project team Discuss with Marketing team / coordinator in Germany and come out with task break up, make effort estimation, prepare milestones and get it accepted by customer Align the SW process to the Product Development Process (Electronics, Mechanical, Production) Drive the project with Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodologies. Willing to strive for process optimization Plan the quality assurance activities for the project and ensure process adherence in the team, Risk management. Acceptance of the work packages and system integration, delivery of software, active support for technical problems Able to do review and gauge the symptoms of quality issues and fix them in root. Help team in gathering requirement clarity with requirement elicitation techniques.Expected skill set: Hands on experience in developing middleware / device drivers, board bring up, architecture design, communication protocols implementation (C, C++ programming) Deep understanding of SW architecture. System Performance optimization, remote debugging, Experience with Embedded systems development is must. Linux and mobile app development experience is good to have. Good to have : Experience with OSS compliance assurance, Linux / Android / Web development experience, RTOS evaluation, functional safety, security, System Performance optimization, Motor control, Battery management,.. Should be able to quickly come up with the system proposals to meet customer requirements Independently debug and validate the software Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel at short notice periods Soft skills: Interaction with cross functional team (Local and Global) Responding to customer feedback/queries whenever required Must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills Must be a team player with ability to guide a set of technical teams
