You'll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution blending your technical excellence with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded products. Your role is vital, owning technical projects from initiation through delivery using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budget. You will be based out of Bangalore, directly reporting into the leader of Supplier Quality Manager in India and with Global Technical Program Management organization. The Program Manager's responsibility is to manage projects and work with cross-functional teams to successfully transition programs to other Lam and/or contract manufacturing sites.What You'll Do

  • Drives the projects to completion considering internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.
  • Works with Commodity team lead and members to develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans; assessing operation business models & processes for improvements; conferring with management.
  • Determines project requirements, success criteria, schedule, and responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel; studying project plan and specifications, reviewing bids from contractors; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
  • Interacts with IT, Engineering and other business units to articulate, promote and manage operational needs and projects. Controls project plan and costs by reviewing specifications, resources and schedule changes.
  • Prepares project status reports and maintain project database by tracking required actions and decisions. Interface and coordinate with internal customers to define objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.
  • Drives allocated resources from all the organizations to achieve performance objectives on time and within budget. Identify and resolve potential complications and critical path issues within the program and collaborate with experts to develop solutions for resolution.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Who We're Looking ForEducational qualification: Bachelor's/Master's engineering degree in Mech / EEE / ECE / Prod / Industrial / AerospaceYears of Experience: Bachelor's degree with minimum 14 years (or) Masters with minimum 10 years of relevant experienceMandatory Skills:
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, program/project & operations management
  • Experience in industrial / manufacturing process improvements, human factor, organizational behavior, etc.
  • Strong problem solving, verbal, written communication and decision driving skills
  • Proficiency in utilizing program management tools to effectively manage resources, identify and communicate bottlenecks
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and see the big picture, grasp complex interconnections, self-driven, and xe2x80x9ca bias for actionxe2x80x9d
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in handling suppliers from remote locations and maintaining a strong working relationship.
  • Experience in working in any ERP tool (ex. SAP, Oracle) & statistical tools (JMP, Minitab etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills to convert data into information and craft executive level summaries
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP
