Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules\xe2\x80\x99 firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Expected Skills and Experience
\xe2\x97\x8f 15+ years experience working as part of a software engineering team (at least 8+ years relevant to this role).
\xe2\x97\x8f Deep knowledge and understanding of
\xe2\x97\x8b Software delivery life-cycle.
\xe2\x97\x8b Agile and Test-driven development.
\xe2\x97\x8b Requirements elicitation and documentation (user stories, functional and non-functional requirements).
\xe2\x97\x8b System design documentation and diagramming (e.g. sequence, state, activity, process models, and diagrams).
\xe2\x97\x8f Practical experience of
\xe2\x97\x8b Working with engineers developing within an event-driven microservices architecture pattern to build backend services, APIs, data processing, and web applications.
\xe2\x97\x8b Collaborating across multiple business lines and product stakeholders.
\xe2\x97\x8b Operating within global teams, working remotely and across multiple time zones.
\xe2\x97\x8b Public cloud engineering environments (ideally AWS), an understanding of their basic architecture and how software and data solutions are developed and deployed within them.
\xe2\x97\x8b Application of data security and protection (e.g. GDPR)
\xe2\x97\x8f Desirable experience of
\xe2\x97\x8b Electric vehicles charging data and protocols (e.g. OCPI and OCPP).
\xe2\x97\x8b Vehicle telematics.
\xe2\x97\x8b Basic level with interpreted languages such as Python and JavaScript.
\xe2\x97\x8f Willingness and proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and effectively.
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\xe2\x97\x8b Writing technical and design documentation.
\xe2\x97\x8b Collaborating over virtual channels with peers distributed globally.
\xe2\x97\x8b Presenting complex business functions and product solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About the Role:
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
\xe2\x97\x8f Be a highly adaptable, versatile, and dependable member of a highly agile and dynamic software engineering team.
\xe2\x97\x8f Embedded in the engineering team, your role is to provide the glue between the solution architects, project managers, product managers, and QA by translating requirements and designs into clear and detailed user stories and specifications for the engineering team to deliver against.
\xe2\x97\x8f Organise and run (or be a key driver) in requirements deep dives, detailed design, estimating, and planning.
\xe2\x97\x8f Monitor, document, and present a clear picture to all interested stakeholders of where the team is in the development, testing, and release of product features.
\xe2\x97\x8f Create entity and state models, process flows, sequence diagrams, data designs, data models and mapping (database / APIs) as well as other documents and artefacts as required to efficiently document business requirements for implementation.
\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with business stakeholders to assist in prioritization of product backlog.
\xe2\x97\x8f Contribute to establishing and maintaining an efficient and collaborative development team.
