We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to lead the development of Whizara\'s EdTech platform that connects students with high quality teachers. As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining the product strategy, roadmap, and feature set to create an innovative and effective learning experience for our users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, education experts, and customer support to deliver a high-quality product that meets the needs of our users and drives business growth. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a product strategy aligned with the company\'s overall vision, goals and business objectives
Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key product features, enhancements, and milestones
Work closely with stakeholders, including educators, learners, and internal teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements
Remain on top of the market trends and competition to drive product strategy
Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that facilitate effective learning experience for students
Oversee the selection of appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to build and maintain a scalable product
Implement agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to drive efficient and iterative product development cycles
Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the platform
Utilize data analytics and user feedback to inform product decisions, optimize user engagement, and drive continuous improvement
Ensure seamless integration with third-party tools and services, needed to deliver value to customers
Stay informed about relevant regulations and standards in the US K-12 EdTech market, and ensure compliance, including data privacy and security requirements
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field
Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role, with a focus on developing software products in the education or e-learning sector
Strong technical background with experience in software development, web technologies, and cloud platforms
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate product vision, strategy, and requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Experience working in cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.
Passion for education, technology, and improving learning outcomes through innovative software solutions
Experience in marketing to K-12 School Administrators in US
