Role Overview




We are the Cloud & Productivity Engineering org within the Enterprise Technology division of LSEG. Cloud and Productivity Engineering (CPE) team delivers foundational cloud platform and developer experiences enabling LSEG to thrive in the cloud. We are building a world class CI/CD platform for deploying applications to the cloud that run critical business functions for LSEG customers. This CI/CD platform is the common developer experience for the software development teams across LSEG that enables us to continue thriving in the cloud in a safe and well-managed way by standardizing best practices and automating compliance and security requirements.




As a Product Leader on the Cloud Productivity Engineering (CPE) Product team, you will lead product management for multiple product lines implementing Cloud safety, Risk controls and FInOps practices. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about technology and deeply empathizes with internal and external customer needs. They are comfortable in conversation with engineering teams as well as stakeholders ranging from developers to senior leaders.




What You'll be doing:
• Drive a product centric operating model within the organization, defining expectations and commitments
• Manage a dynamic team, providing people leadership to drive innovation and excellence in both mature and greenfield products
• You'll establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, and partner with leaders and stakeholders to regularly drive alignment, secure resources and overcome impediments.
• You'll rally your teams and senior stakeholders to your product vision and proactively leverage relationships throughout the ecosystem to align to your vision and influence prioritization across partner teams.
• You'll be responsible for attracting and retaining top talent to your team and mentoring and developing associates on their product career
• You'll deeply learn the financial drivers, externalities, and points of leverage within your domain to identify new products or product enhancements that drive sustainable value.
• You'll promote a culture anchored in data, used to instrument products, validate outcomes, drive insights, and manage the business both tactically and strategically
• Drive roadmap and strategy for cloud enablement products considering market trends, customer and stakeholder needs and vendor landscape
• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and ongoing enhancements, ensuring effective success of cloud control measures
• You'll be responsible for fostering a strong agile discipline and inspiring teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics
• You'll partner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions that solve material customer and business problems
• Encourage customer-focused innovation and provide guidance for market and customer research to gather insight and understand personas and needs
• You'll work closely with tech leadership to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the customer experience your team will deliver
• You'll have an end-to-end understanding of your product portfolio and how it fits into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business.

What You'll bring:
• Bachelor's in business or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
• 7-9+ years of experience in product management, product design or software engineering
• 7-9+ years of Cloud technology or related experience in a fast-moving enterprise-facing business
• Hands on experience with multi-cloud environments, leveraging deep cloud expertise
• Experience managing core infrastructure products on AWS, GCP, and Azure environments
• Technical knowledge and depth necessary to propose and influence new product and feature ideas in the cloud platforms and developer experience space
• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
• Experience with public cloud specializing in CI/CD and DevOps expertise
• Thought leader with a solid understanding of the key Cloud business drivers and customer dynamics in high-tech industries
• Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced Cloud environment and able to influence multiple cross-departmental stakeholders.
• Analytical and quantitative skills, experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
• Strong work ethic as team player and a willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
