The Technical Product Analyst (TPA) is a hands-on role where you will have to analyze technical artifacts, study payment processor specifications, and write user stories for our engineering and test engineering teams to build features and products that delight our merchants, partners, consumers, and developers. The candidate should have a strong technical background (experience working in Payment Gateway / Card Payments / Financial Services space will be a plus), should be a thought leader, have exceptional organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills and be an analytical and structured thinker.If you have strong analytical skills, a curious mindset, and a strong desire to create a career in technical product management, come talk to us. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the payments space to join a team that is made stronger through innovation and collaboration.Essential Functions:Define detailed business requirements and specifications for existing and new services and products.Be hands-on with describing business requirements as technical artifacts, UI, API designPartner with card acquirers, banks, and other strategic partners to enable payment processing which facilitates our global footprint expansion.Own and execute one or more product features by working closely with technology teams.Be skilled at forging strong partnerships with business sponsors, product owners, architects, and developers to define feature sets, story maps, detailed user stories (functional and non-functional) to support the fast-paced agile environment.Analyze data to provide actionable insights and iterate product capabilities.Focus on user feedback, metrics and stakeholder feedback.Participate in daily scrum meetings for the teams executing on projects being drivenWork closely with senior leadership providing status, action plan and recommendationsBe comfortable looking at system logs when needed and identifying bugs when they might appear during course of analysisThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:5 or more years of work experience and a Bachelor\'s Degree or with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters)
Should have 1-3 years experience working in Payment Gateway / Card Payments / Financial Services space (in one or more of the following areas- Core Payments, Alternative Payments, Merchant & Partner portals, Reporting and Reconciliation, Risk & Fraud management, Payment Security, Tokenization etc.).
Hands on experience in developing roadmaps, grooming product backlogs, writing user stories and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
Proficiency working in an agile environment.
Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work in a global environment and drive consensus in cross-functional
Self-motivated, results driven, with the ability to quickly establish clear, well thought out action plans
Must have working experience building high volume and large scale distributed systems.
Technical experience in API (SOAP & Rest), Web Development.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills to interface well with clients and partners at all levels
