About this opportunity

We at Ericsson Global India Services looking for a proactive, dynamic, and proficient senior DevOps engineer for the open position in BMAS NDO R&D division in Bangalore with the following abilities and experience levels!

What you will do

• Implement integrations requested by customers. Deploy updates and fixes. Provide Level 2 technical support.Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve experience. Perform root cause analysis for production errors.Investigate and resolve technical issues. Develop scripts to automate visualization.Design procedures for system fixing and maintenance. Developing tools and process to drive and improve customer experience. Mentor and mentor juniors and get job done.

You will bring

• Strong working experience with Linux operating system environments. Strong database working and concept knowledge like (MySQL, Oracle, NoSQL, NewSQL).Good knowledge of microservices concept and Docker Services.Good knowledge Azure, AWS, or any other Cloud Services. Good hands-on knowledge of Product Monitoring and Understanding End to End product flow.Good Knowledge of standard methodologies and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service!
• Good Solving and Debugging skills by analyzing the data set and services/product logs.Basic knowledge of deploying development CI/CD tools such as Ansible,Git,GitLab, or Jenkins. Experience with or knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.Basic knowledge of Bigdata technologies(HDFS, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark),basic Kubernetes knowledge will be added advantage.Basic Shell scripting knowledge will be added advantage. Basic knowledge with tools and concepts related to data and analytics, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service. Excellent problem-solving and solving skills.Process oriented with excellent documentation skills. Ability to mentor and groom juniors. Communicate up and down in his hierarchy. Negotiation and conflict resolution. Bachelors in Engineering (B.E/ B. Tech in IT/Telecom). 3-6 years of experience working Operations Engineering role as Product Technical Guide.
