Apply to be part of our Leadership role as a Technical Manager for our new business unit –(Rubber Composites) - to shape Bradken's product and service delivery goals and build and develop high-performing teams.

As a Technical Manager- Rubber Composites, you will be responsible for setting up and operationalising a Rubber Product manufacturing plant for Mill Liners and allied products.

You will be a key member in establishing and developing process capability for Compression moulding/Vulcanisation, quality and delivery, including design and optimisation of manufacturing methods, providing direction and management of solutions to immediate and longer-term process, safety and sustainability opportunities and issues.

You will leverage your understanding and insight into developing production methods (using the right simulation tools) to meet customer requirements & improve production efficiency and minimising waste

You will collaborate and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will follow compliance and ensure implementation of processes to increase understanding of quality management principles/tools and general problem-solving capability across the facility.

Overall, you will optimise processes with the latest technology by using available knowledge within and outside the company, monitoring new technology for step-out and continuous improvement activities. You will lead technical investigations to resolve complex and unique plant problems by applying advanced problem-solving techniques across the site.

Key Technical Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in Polymer / Rubber Technology
• 5 + Years of experience in Rubber Recipe development and Processing
• Worked in Large Mining based Rubber Industries
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment in the rubber industry.
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the vulcanisation process would be highly regarded
• Quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
